Wheelchair basketball can help to improve upper body strength, and, because it’s a team sport, it’s a great way to meet new people.
Costs vary, but individual sessions may cost around £5.
Clothes you feel comfortable getting hot and sweaty in, and a wheelchair. Some clubs will provide a sports wheelchair for you to use. Check with your local club before you go along.
