Roller Derby

Roller derby is a full contact sport. It’s a bit like a cross between rugby and a race, but there’s no ball and everyone’s on rollerskates!
Why is it good for me?
It’s great for both cardio, endurance and strength. Roller derby is a full body workout, with particular focus on your core, legs and back.
How much does it cost?
It depends on the league you join, but £35 per month for around 12 sessions a month is about average.
What equipment do I need?
You’ll need quad skates, knee and elbow pads, wrist guards, a helmet and a mouthguard.
