Futsal is an exciting, fast-paced small sided football game that is widely played across the world and is officially recognised by both UEFA and FIFA. The Football Association are the governing body for the sport in England.
Futsal is a ball sport played on a hard court, smaller than a football pitch, and mainly indoors. It has similarities to five-a-side football. Futsal is played between two teams of five players each, one of whom is the goalkeeper.
Futsal is a superb team and social sport. As there are only 5 players on court per team, each player is important and involved in attacking, defending and counter-attacking and must understand the different roles within the team.
