Policies 

Active Cumbria is hosted by Cumberland Council, and as such we have adopted the policies and procedures of our host organisation. These include, but are not limited to HR, Financial, Fraud, Health & Safety, Procurement, ICT and Information Security, Data Protection, Whistle Blowing, Business Continuity, and Officer Conduct. Bespoke policies are below: - 

Equality, Diversity & Inclusion

Active Cumbria is committed to eliminating discrimination and encouraging diversity and inclusion within our workforce, in the partnerships we support and in the services we deliver. We oppose all forms or unlawful and unfair discrimination including direct and indirect discrimination, harrassment, bullying and victimisation.

In addition to this policy, the Advisory Board produces a Diversity Action Plan and have signed up to the Mental Health Charter, Race Equality Charter, and the Active Partnerships Racial Equality Commitment (see below).
