September 9, 2021
Lots of participants came and took part, trying out the range of bikes on offer, with the support from staff and volunteers. The aim of the day was to introduce people to inclusive cycling and most importantly have fun!
Leading up to the event and on the day, we had great support from Les & the Team at YouthAbility, Ian at Cycling Projects and Emm at Active Cumbria and Marie from Barrow Borough Council, who all played their part in helping organise the event and supporting people on the day.
The day was a resounding success, and we are now working hard behind the scenes to get everything ready for regular weekly Wheels for All activities starting from Spring 2022.
If you would like to find out more, please get in touch. We are always looking for new partners and people to work with and also are keen to recruit more volunteers.
