Rugby Black List Awards

Active Cumbria Advisory Board member Paul Kasiera and his son Myles attended the recent Rugby Black List Awards held at Twickenham.
First started in 2023, The Rugby Black List celebrates the outstanding achievements and contributions of black individuals in rugby union at all levels and recognises excellence on and off the pitch, spotlighting role models and leaders who inspire the current and future generations within the rugby community.
Paul has coached Rugby for several years. Starting with Carlisle Rugby club from Under 11's to Colts. He has been a Cumbria County Rugby Coach and is still currently a Newcastle Falcons’ Academy Developing Player Programme coach where both of his sons, Morgan and Myles, participated. Paul also finds time to be a Coach Mentor at Carlisle Rugby Club.
Myles who is 18 years old, has played for Carlisle since he was 9 years old. Myles has represented the County and is currently playing with Carlisle’s first team.
As our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Advisory Board Champion, Paul has been integral to our commitment to develop a Diversity and Inclusion Action Plan ensuring our compliance with the Code for Sports Governance.
