New Travel Actively Website Launching Soon!

Fed up with being stuck in traffic? Do you want to be more active on your way to work or school, but just don’t know where to start?
If so, then a new website could be just for you. Launching on 2nd April, the new Travel Actively Cumbria website is aimed at helping people walk, wheel or cycle more on regular journeys – such as to work, school or the shops.
It will include top tips on routes, what you might need, and inspirational stories from local residents.
If you can, join our Travel Actively teams on Wednesday 2 April for special events in Barrow Town Centre and the Carlisle Lanes Shopping Centre to find out more and speak with those from the Active Travel team about how by walking, wheeling or cycling more on everyday journeys can lead to a healthier and happier you.

The website is being delivered as a partnership between Active Cumbria, Cumberland Council and Westmorland and Furness Council, with funding from the Government.
