TIF funding was used to create a weekly online physical activity group. This allowed young people to see one another and could engage with the youth workers from their own home.
Equipment was all provided and delivered to ensure that everyone was able to partake in the activities.
A personal trainer from the local area led the sessions making them fun and interactive. The trainer then supported the youth leaders to lead both online sessions and a holiday sports camp throughout the summer.
This upskilling of the Youth Workers now makes the project sustainable and ensures it carries on being delivered.
