Women and girls rugby union teams are available. No prior experience is required, and we welcome new players. It is a friendly and social team who has a female qualified Head Coach. The women train on a Wednesday night from 6.45 to 8.30pm food is availble after training. Girls training from under 12s to under 17 is available on a Monday and Friday night from 6 till 7pm. Please come along to join the fastest growing womens sport and have some fun.

Done in the United Reformed Church, in the hall at the back. Sessions only ask for walking, no running involved. A mixture of fun games, rugby related skill sessions and a walking rugby game to finish. Suitable footwear must be worn.

The Auld Greys Walking Rugby is an activity for men & women over the age of 55 with no upper age limit. No rugby playing experience is necessary. What we do is based around fun and not a more competitive element We play each week outdoors on the 3G surface with tea and buns afterwards. £3.50 per session or join Kendal Rugby Club.

We have lots of opportunities for children and young people, starting from our mini's age group at 3 years old through to our U18's girls and boys teams. As it says on the tin, social rugby well suited to older people and not necessarily ex-players. It's entirely non-competitive and the hour long sessions (Wednesdays 10am-11am at St Benedicts on the 4G pitch) always end with a brew, cake and natter. Excellent for physical and mental health.
