Cumbria chosen to run one of nine Adult beginners initiatives - Judo

In January 2012 the British Judo Associations nine English Areas are piloting an Adult Beginners Course programme, if successful this may be rolled out Nationally.

The courses are ten weeks in duration and the cost £60.00 includes not only the cost of the course but BJA Membership (which affords insurance cover among its many other benefits), a Gi (Judo kit) and the players first grading fee at the conclusion of the course. Only select Clubs have been identified at this stage and in Cumbria the prestigious Kendal Judo Club was chosen, details of the course are as follows:

Kendal JC: Start date Tuesday 31st January - Time 7:30pm - 9:00pm - Venue Kendal JC, The Dojo, Parkside Road, LA9 7EN.
