As a result of a successful funding submission to Sport England, we are now recruiting to a number of new positions within our high performing team. Further details are below.
Development Officer (2 Posts)
We are looking for excellent team players, who will work with a wide range of stakeholders to reduce levels of inactivity in targeted communities. You will have a wealth of experience in facilitating successful partnerships for the delivery of physical activity/sport and/or community development activities.
Excellent communication skills, along with high level organizational, and relationship skills will be required, as will a positive and flexible attitude.
Position 1: (Post Ref: PL1305e) 37 hours per week (Permanent - Location to be agreed)
Position 2: (Post Ref: PL1303e) 14.8 hours (2 days) per week (Temporary Contract initially up to 31.03.23 working in the Copeland area)
Salary: £31,346 - £32,234 (pro-rata for Position 2)
Workbase: TBC (currently home working)

Project Officer (Up to 5 Posts) (Post Ref: PL1306e)
We are looking for exceptional candidates to join our team to create meaningful opportunities for our less active individuals and communities to be active. You will be a highly organized individual with excellent communication and project management skills, who is able to engage and influence a range of key partners to achieve our vision.
A strong team player, with excellent ICT skills, you will work across all our children and young people services and programmes.
We are recruiting five part-time Project Officers, with each role working in our priority communities across Cumbria. Each position is 18.5 hours per week, although we are open to applications from individuals wishing to apply for two positions to make up a full time 37 hour per week role. Please indicate within your application which Position and Area you are applying for.
Position 1: Allerdale Area
Position 2: Barrow-in-Furness Area
Position 3: Carlisle Area
Position 4: Copeland Area
Position 5: Eden & South Lakeland Areas
Salary: £27,741 – £28,672 (pro-rata)
Hours: 18.5 hours per week
Workbase: There will be a requirement to work in the area covered by the respective post, however, the work base can also be home based
