To support the delivery of our 5 Year Plan, we are looking for a person with a passion to create active communities across Copeland. The post is crucial to us achieving our mission of ‘improving lives through physical activity’ and our vision of ‘everyone in Cumbria is enjoying an active lifestyle’.

We have a part time permanent vacancy and are now recruiting a Development Officer to join our high performing team.

We are looking for an excellent team player, who will work with a wide range of stakeholders to reduce levels of inactivity in targeted communities. You will have a wealth of experience in facilitating successful partnerships for the delivery of physical activity/sport and/or community development activities.

Excellent communication skills, along with high level organizational, and relationship skills will be required, as will a positive and flexible attitude.

Role: Development Officer

Salary: 31,895 - 32,798 (pro rata)

Hours: 22.2 hours per week

Workbase: There will be a requirement to work in the Copeland area, however, the work base can also be home based

Contract: Permanent
