Windermere Outdoor Adventure Centre have issued an invitation for anyone to try sailing or windsurfing for free on the evening of 28 June .

It doesn’t matter if you’ve never stepped in a boat before, you and your family can get afloat and sample the freedom and exhilaration of a fantastic outdoor sport at this facility.

From 18:00 to 20:00, the centre will be running free 30 taster sessions. Visitors will be taken out by experienced instructors. All the equipment and information needed will be provided to give a superb introduction to sailing and windsurfing. Booking in advance is recommended

The taster sessions are supported by the RYA. Adam McGovern, RYA Regional Development Officer for the North West said: “There’s never been a better time to feel inspired and to get out on the water. Sailing can be as physical or relaxing as you like. Why not try it for yourself for absolutely free?”

Windermere Outdoor Adventure Centre is a recognised RYA Training Centre meaning it conforms to the highest standards of quality and safety.
