Road Safety Week 14-20 November 2022

November 14, 2022

The theme of Road Safety Week 2022 is SAFE ROADS FOR ALL, bringing together communities and professionals to shout out for everyone's right to make safe and healthy journeys on safe roads.

We all have a responsibility to work together to provide a safe environment and to consider other vulnerable road users who we are sharing space with on the school run. This can be achieved by driving at safe speeds, considering the hierarchy or road users at crossings and junctions and by parking safely to keep pavements and footpaths clear for pedestrians. These simple actions as drivers can help to encourage the school community to walk and wheel to school more frequently, reducing overall traffic and congestion on our roads.
