RED January - Challenge Yourself To Move More Every Day

RED January is a nationwide movement for mental wellbeing – an initiative founded by Hannah Beecham in 2016.
Hannah was inspired to start RED January after witnessing the transformative effect that regular physical activity had on her Mum, as she recovered from a period of severe depression. There is now a growing community of over 250,000 REDers, including some of our own team.
This year the campaign encourages us all to move every day and make real changes, not new year resolutions by choosing a January challenge that works for you and your lifestyle.
That way, you’ll be more likely to continue the habits you form well beyond January. Some of the Active Cumbria team will be setting their own challenges which we will be sharing with you. Keep checking back for updates.
