Street Tag is a free mobile app that turns the world around the user into a virtual playground. Points are gained by actively travelling to and from places, in addition to scanning virtual tags that have been scattered throughout the community. Tags can be found on the route to school, in local parks, at local events and more or less anywhere and everywhere making it really easy to join in the fun!
Your school can join the Street Tag community for FREE!
Active Cumbria have secured an initial partnership with Street Tag and schools can sign up to Street Tag for FREE. We have created a school based physical activity competition for all education establishments in Cumbria. Schools can have up to two teams of 250 members per team and are recruited by downloading the app and scanning the unique QR code assigned to their school. The whole school community is invited to take part, whether staff, governor, parent, or pupil.

Street Tag is receiving fantastic reviews. Here's what some of the users had to say:
John and Lucas - Parent & Son Players (South Lakeland)
“Street Tag keeps up active, gets us out and about in the local area walking our dog, and out on our bikes. The main prizes are really good for schools”.
Head Teacher – Vickerstown Primary
“Street Tag is a great app to track and encourage exercise, pushing yourself to improve and gain more points for the school team. It has been easy to encourage engagement and participation during term time as well as during the summer holidays.”
PE Lead – Small Rural School
“Street Tag was a brilliant way of increasing physical activity for children, families and staff. It was quick and easy to set up for all to access.”
Active Oxfordshire
“Street Tag has cut through the inequality divide that there tends to be in sport. The disadvantage communities are just as active, if not more, compared to the more affluent areas.”
