School

OSF Funding used for:

South Lakes

John Ruskin School

Purchasing kit identified by students to increase the movement and physical activity offer. New age kurling, bowls, pentanque and boccia sets along with a boxing pack to be utilised by both students and the community beyond the school day. Moveable goals also purchased to make more use of the outdoor space for activity.

Sandside Lodge School

Funding to purchase a small number of specialist bikes to engage pupils in additional activity out of school hours. Funding also utilised to staff family hydro pool sessions and family rebound sessions and contribute towards sensory pool toys.

Settlebeck High School

Purchasing two trampolines and accompanying mats to get more students engaged per session, as it already proves extremely popular during PE and at after school sessions, but usually unable to accommodate all in a substantial offer. Additional investment in Tchoukball equipment and CPD will also provide an alternative sports club whereby all students will start with skills on a level playing field. CPD will allow for longevity with the possibility of building up club numbers through teaching it in lesson time also.
