More from Cumbria Youth alliance
Our partners at Streetgames have trained lots of our youth organisations and others including Colleges and the University of Cumbria to deliver doorstep sport. Many Youth organisations have a physical activity offer. Streetgames have also created some activity cards (see below)
We have a range of small sport clubs across the county, referred to as satellite clubs - they are a satellite branch of the main club. These are aimed at young people. See the Activity Finder for details of one in your area.
There are lots of opportunities to get into volunteering in Sport and Physical Activity. You could volunteer with a local club, a County Association (such as Cumberland FA), a National Governing Body (Like England Hockey) or for particular events (such as the Windermere Marathon). Volunteering in sport can take you to national events and even worldwide events such as the Olympics.
There are 23 opportunities listed on the Activity Finder. To view local opportunities please select your local area.
