StreetGames North West Network New Partners Meeting

March 5, 2015

StreetGames North West Network - New Partners Meeting - Cumbria

Friday 24th April 2015, 1pm to 3pm

Venue - Cumbria County Council, Parkhouse Building Baron Way, Kingmoor Business Park Carlisle, Cumbria, CA6 4SJ

StreetGames is a sports charity that changes lives and communities. They do this by supporting a network of projects, which give sports and volunteering opportunities to young people in disadvantaged communities across the UK. Doorstep sport is StreetGames’ delivery method, whereby we bring sport close to the home in disadvantaged communities at the right time, for the right price, to the right place and in the right style. They deliver this work through a number of specific programmes that include:

  • StreetGames Young Volunteers
  • StreetGames Training Academy
  • Us Girls
  • Festivals and Events
  • StreetMark Accreditation
  • Doorstep Sport Clubs

They already have a presence in Cumbria and work with a number of partners in the county. And are keen to extend their work in Cumbria by creating links with new organisations in the area. To support this development, they have organised a meeting on the above date, in partnership with ourseleves, to provide local organisations with the opportunity to find out more about them and discuss the potential to work in partnership.

If you would like to attend the meeting and/or discuss the potential for your organisation to work with StreetGames please contact Gary White (StreetGames, North West Network Co-ordinator): Email  Tel 0151 228 2343 Mob 07958 267306
