Northwest Be Inspired Awards - Please nominate the individual you feel has made an outstanding contribution to delivering a legacy in the Northwest.
 

The NW Be Inspired Awards are an opportunity to recognise and celebrate outstanding progress and contribution of individuals towards delivering a legacy for the Northwest from London 2012. 

The individuals are those people behind the scenes without whom activity would not happen at all or with the same degree of success.  In keeping with the London 2012 'golden thread' the NW Be Inspired Awards are designed to personalise the legacy story for the region. This is an important element of raising the profile and telling the story of how the region is benefiting from the Games.

The Awards will be made at the NW 2012 Conference on 23 July 2010 and, for this year, are based on nominations from the NW Steering Group for the 2012 Games.

There is a simple criteria for nominations:
The Awards are an opportunity to recognise the outstanding contribution of individuals without whom the benefits of London 2012 would not be the same in the region.

The Awards provide a particular opportunity to celebrate those who have been proactive in already delivering positive outcomes for communities in the region.

It is proposed that the Awards are not designed for projects or organisations.

The Awards are not designed for those individuals employed in London 2012 specific roles.

Please nominate the individual you feel has gone above and beyond their personal best for the Northwest by responding to rob.young@nwda.co.uk outlining the name and organisation of the individual concerned along with a brief explanation for why you are nominating them. The deadline for nominations is Monday 28th June.
