Football Cumbria Girls Centre of Excellence

The third season of the Cumbria Girls Centre of Excellence kicks off soon - trials for the new season will be taking place in Penrith during June.

Only girls within the Centre of Excellence programme are able to be selected for the England Women teams. The Cumbria Centre trains twice a week (once in Penrith and one regional session in Carlisle, Whitehaven and Milnthorpe) and plays fixtures against teams from Manchester United, Everton, Liverpool, Blackburn Rovers, Newcastle United and Crewe.

All clubs and schools in Cumbria have been given information on how to nominate players for the trials in the following age groups:
Under 10, Under 12, Under 14, Under 16

The trials will be taking place in Penrith on Monday 7 June, Monday 14 June and Monday 21 June.
