Cumbria Young Volunteer Of the Year Award

Cumbria County Council are getting together with CYA, CVS and V-Involved to celebrate the county's young volunteers. The Cumbria Young Volunteer of the Year Award is open to anyone aged 16 to 25 in Cumbria who has shown commitment in giving up their time for a good cause. You can nominate an individual or a group of up to five people.

 The winner will get the outdoor adventure of their choice, thanks to support from Cumbria Outdoors, and a grant of £250 for their supporting organisation. Runner up prizes will also be up for grabs. The closing date is 1st September, 2010 with the winner announced in the November edition of Your Cumbria.
