English Lacrosse offer to support Physical Education in Primary Schools is:
Provide easy to use Teacher and Coach educational courses and support. Provide easy to use resources and playing equipment. Provide a range of inter and intra Competition for primary schools. Provide a network of community club opportunities for young people. Provide support from EL based staff to support the work in schools.
English Lacrosse Level 1 Teachers courses and INSETS. To register your interest complete FORM (see back of booklet).
Teaching Aids: Easy to use manuals, skill cards, lesson plans and schemes of work. Equipment: Preferential equipment purchase through partner Lacrosse distributor’s (Youth Sport Direct). Promotional material such as DVD’s and posters available from English Lacrosse Head Office which supports any project. Communication and advertising of events via the EL Magazine & E-Zine.
Inter School Competition is provided annually by EL for Pop Lacrosse. Intra School Competition is provided by EL for Pop Lacrosse. Exit Routes Extra-curricular (afterschool or lunch) are supported by teachers and English Lacrosse development staff to link into the network of community clubs. A network of community clubs affiliated to English Lacrosse providing a range of playing and volunteering opportunities for Young People at all ages.
Coaching: Direct coaching support is available via a network of English Lacrosse accredited professional school coaches. English Lacrosse Staff: Regional and County Development Officers are available for support, advice and networking. Events: English Lacrosse can provide assistance with officials, advertising, volunteers & insurance for school events.
