Basketball is a fun, inclusive sport that can be enjoyed by all children.

England Basketball’s offer to support Physical Education in Primary Schools is:
To provide primary schools with a comprehensive resource package (ALL4BALL)
To support the education and development of teachers through the delivery of our Activator Award courses.
To facilitate links with local community clubs able to support curriculum delivery and provide continued opportunities for young people to play basketball.

CPD
The Basketball Activators Award which are designed to empower young people with the skills, drills and basic technical knowledge to deliver basketball sessions within an educational environment. 

Resources
A basketball learning plan designed to improve a young person’s physical literacy.
Five innovate skill cards (dribbling, footwork, passing, scoring & rebounding) that include individual challenges and also promote teamwork.
Fully integrated player proficiency award.
Easy-to-follow teacher delivery guidance including modified game formats and rules.
Classroom cross curricular learning plans.  All the essentials in a basketball equipment bag.

Competition
Intra/Inter competitions - modified game rules, guidance and promotional materials included within resource.

National School Competitions as well for secondary schools and FE colleges

Exit Routes
Affiliated junior basketball clubs (see local offer below).
