Volunteers' Week

May 24, 2016

Volunteers Week 2016 – 1-12 June

Volunteers’ Week is an annual event to celebrate the fantastic contribution that millions of volunteers make across the UK. The week plays a huge part in raising the profile of the millions of volunteers who regularly contribute to society, while inspiring others to get involved too.

Volunteers and coaches play a vital role in community sport all across Cumbria, remember it’s not too late to say thank you to your own volunteers with the week fast approaching. For ideas, tips and resources please visit:  http://volunteersweek.org/

(Please remember to get permission for their photograph to be used) If you do not use twitter then in advance of twitter hour please email me: judith@cumbriacvs.org.uk any volunteer posters or photos you have in Jpeg format, with 160 characters of text you want me to add to your tweets and Cumbria CVS will do our best to tweet on your behalf!
