Sport England have developed a new tool that helps you to understand the health and economic benefits of physical activity.
It shows how much the risk of key diseases – like cardiovascular disease and diabetes – has been lowered for those who play sport.
The tool, which has been developed alongside the Health Economics Consulting group at the University of East Anglia, will help you to evaluate the cost effectiveness of a physical activity programme where there are clear health outputs.
You can also run different scenarios in the model which explore areas for programme alteration and improvement.
