Girls Player Development Centre

Westmorland County FA is pleased to announce that they have secured FA backing to run a Girls Player Development Centre for the 2011/12 season. The FA Player Development Centre is part of The FA's player pathway and bridges the gap between grassroots football and The FA Centre of Excellence programme. The Centre will be based at Dallam School, Milnthorpe and will run age groups at Under 11's, 13's, 15's and 17's (Dates of Birth will run as per school year groups) under the guidance of both male and female UEFA B and Level 2 coaches.

If successful, girls will continue to play for their grassroots club and take part in additional training with the PDC (alongside their grassroots club training and match programme). The PDC will also play fixtures against FA PDC's from Cumberland, Cheshire, Durham and Northumberland.

Girls who do not currently play for a club are welcomed and will be signposted to a local FA Charter Standard Club following the trials process.

The trials will take place on Wednesday 28 September 2011.

 Girls should send their completed Personal Information form to Westmorland County FA. This will register them for the trials. Registration forms should be sent to Westmorland County FA, 35/37 Appleby Road, Kendal, LA9 6ET before Friday 23 September 2011.
