Volunteers' Week is an annual celebration, for the fantastic contribution that millions of volunteers make across the UK. The Week plays a huge part in raising the profile of the millions of volunteers who regularly contribute to society, while inspiring others to get involved too. See what is going on in Copeland below.

Volunteer Week Challenge
Monday 6th June
Copeland Council health and well being team will be putting their elbow grease to good use by completing a task that will benefit our community. After challenges being nominated and a public vote the team will be painting at Haverigg cricket club.

Walk leaders course
FREE course
Tuesday 7th June 2011 @ Copeland Bowls & Sports Centre 11am - 4pm.
The is the WfH Volunteer Walk Leader course and you will be a qualified and certificated leader once complete.
(Though the course is free they are asking for a contribution of £4 pp to help cover the venue, lunch and refreshments)
