Ambition AXA Awards Initiative

The Ambition AXA Awards are searching for the UK's most gifted and driven young people and are offering a personalised mentoring programme worth up to £40,000 to five individuals who are between the age of 11 and 18 who really wants to succeed, whether it's in sport, enterprise, the arts, science, or in the community who show real talent, care and commitment, these awards are an opportunity to make their dreams come true.

Has someone ever told you that you've got something special? Do your parents, coaches or teachers say you've got what it takes to get to the top (or are you a parent, teacher or coach who's spotted potential in a young person)? Then apply here.  These awards have been created to help Britain's youth achieve their ambition.

You may be interested to know that we in Cumbria do better at Sport and Enterprise in these age groups proportionally to our size, than many other counties / unitaries et al. Let us make sure that our young people have this opportunity.
 
There panel of judges have some well known celebrities on it, who can and will inspire them.
