Active Cumbria is committed to working towards increasing inclusion and developing sustainable and accessible sport and active recreation for under-represented communities in Cumbria. My role is to coordinate the development of sport equity across the County, with the aim  to achieve greater sporting equality by working with a range of partners including voluntary organisations, community groups, schools, local authorities and facility providers.

I also lead and support the development of the Cumbria Sport Equity Alliance (SEA) is a county forum that brings together these wide range of partners who have a common interest in ensuring that disabled people, women and girls and black and minority ethnic communites in Cumbria are given the opportunity to participate in sport by removing barriers, widening opportunities and increasing choice.
