Kendal College is a further education college situated in Kendal on the edge of the Lake District National Park. It specialises in further and higher education, as well as training for business. They are a partner college of the University of Cumbria and the University of Central Lancashire.

PLEASE NOTE: Car parking is restricted in the College particularly during term time.  Additional street parking may be available on Vicarage Drive or alternatively at the Kendal Leisure Centre which is approximately a five-minute walk from the College. Other parking is available at the Kendal Parish Church, which is a four-minute walk from the College.

The Cumbria 2012 Conference organisers encourages all delegates to walk, cycle and use public transport where possible, as part of a healthy lifestyle. 

Kendal College is a pleasant downhill 30 minute walk from Oxenholme Railway Station or a 7 minute taxi journey.  'Oxenholme The Lake District' railway station,is located just outside Kendal, and is a junction between the West Coast Main Line and the Windermere Branch Line.  A taxi rank is situated on the railway station forecourt and the college is 7 minutes taxi journey.

If delegates choose to cycle to the conference the college offer a substantial number of covered cycle racks, delegates should ask at reception for instructions.
