Kendal Judo Club, Kendal
- Superb purpose built facility that can cater for elite athletes.
- Great International links established. This year the club hosted training events for the Belgian and Russian national squads as well as the GB academy and V.I squads.
- Club officials have visited the last two major world judo events to promote the clubs training camp status.
- The club have recently received grant funding to deliver a number of non-judo activities based at the facility, such as adult multi activity clubs.
- Kendal offers a fantastic base to enable teams to access the rest of the Lake District.
Hoops Basketball Centre, Barrow
- A high quality purpose built Lottery funded Basketball facility.
- The Centre has a very ambitious basketball programme, including the development of two National League clubs; Barrow Thorns and the Furness Falcons Wheelchair clubs.
- Host to a residential Eurocamp coaching basketball camp.
- Host to National sporting events. Regular hosts to English Schools Basketball finals and in 2006 were host to a Men's Full International Table Tennis match between England and Holland.
- Local basketball and netball leagues play their matches at the Centre.
Sheepmount Athletics Stadium, Carlisle
- The Stadium was officially opened by H.R.H the Duke of Wessex in 2006.
- The eight lane 400m synthetic track and infield is laid and marked to International Association of Athletics Federation (IAAF) specifications.
- Sheepmount plays host to a UK Athletics National League meeting once each year.
- Two Athletics Clubs, Border Harriers and Carlisle Aspatria, are based at the Sheepmount Stadium.
