The Inspire programme is looking for non-commercial organisations that are running inspirational and innovative projects or events that are genuinely inspired by London 2012 Olympic Games  & Paralympic Games.

Projects should be

  • From the themes of sport, culture, business, sustainability, education, and volunteering.
  • Genuinely inspired or energised by the 2012 Games.
  • Well planned and managed.
  • Fully funded.
  • Participative and accessible.
  • Demonstrate some component which inspires and involves young people.
  • Free from any commercial support or association.
  • Deliver our regional legacy Framework.

Badge Excellence - Inspire projects can carry the London 2012 brand, through the inspire mark, on a wide range of marketing materials.

Showcase your success - regional and national media activity regularly focuses attention on Inspire projects. The Inspire Programme also run regional events to showcase projects, drive inspiration and stimulate new partnerships.

Networking Opportunities - strengthen your project through the Inspire Programme network. This is a diverse network of organisations at national level, across culture, sport, education and sustainability, with potential to drive inspiration and opportunities.

Communications support - we will work with you to provide commuications support that works for your project. This might include:

  • Inclusion in targeted London 2012 & Northwest media campaigns
  • London 2012 representatives at your key events
  • Blog & feature content on the London 2012 website
  • Features in one or more of our e-newsletters, targeting specific audiences
