Using the Bus Service 62a

The 62a bus can be caught on Devonshire Street, outside Le Gall/Jessops, at 20 and 50min past the hour.

From the NORTH (M74/M6)

  1. Heading south along the M74/M6 toward Carlisle.  
  2. Leave the motorway at Junction 44 (Carlisle North) and at the roundabout take the 5th exit sign posted A689W Rockcliffe.
  3. At the next roundabout take the 3rd exit sign posted A689 Rockcliffe.  
  4. Continue through the traffic signals (with the Asda Superstore on your left).  
  5. Proceed along this road for approximately half a mile, cross the small bridge then turn left onto Crindledyke Estate.  
  6. Turn left through the main security gate and the Parkhouse Building is to your right.  
  7. The main car park for the building is located to your left after entering through the security gate.

From the SOUTH (M6)

  1. Heading north along the M6 around the east side of Carlisle.  
  2. Leave the motorway at Junction 44 (Carlisle North) and at the roundabout take the 2nd exit sign posted A689W Rockcliffe.
  3. At the next roundabout take the 3rd exit sign posted A689 Rockcliffe.  
  4. Continue through the traffic signals (with the Asda Superstore on your left).  
  5. Proceed along this road for approximately half a mile, cross the small bridge then turn left onto Crindledyke Estate.  
  6. Turn left through the main security gate and the Parkhouse Building is to your right.  
  7. The main car park for the building is located to your left after entering through the security gate

From the City Centre/Hardwicke Circus Roundabout

  1. From the City Centre/Hardwicke Circus Roundabout take the exit marked A7(N).
  2. Continue to follow the road A7(N) passing through the traffic signals for approximately 2.1miles.
  3. The road changes from A7(N) to Kingstown Road, bear left on to Parkhouse Road.
  4. Follow Parkhouse Road and take the 2nd exit on the first roundabout (you will go past Argos/Homebase to your right), then take the 2nd exit on the next roundabout following the road markings for Rockcliffe.
  5. Continue through the traffic signals (with the Asda Superstore on your left).
  6. Proceed along this road for approximately half a mile, cross the small bridge then turn left onto Crindledyke Estate.  
  7. Turn left through the main security gate and the Parkhouse Building is to your right.  
  8. The main car park for the building is located to your left after entering through the security gate.
